This bomber jacket from Abound(also pictured below) is my favorite, and I’m hoping I can get away with wearing that as an overcoat for a few more weeks.Īnd there’s nothing like a great pair of booties, like the ones below from Vince Camuto. And a jacket is the shell, if you will, to contain everything together. You’ll stay warm while combining different clothing elements to create a killer look. I love to layer it’s where fashion meets functionality. And this Dip Dye Sweaterfrom Gypsy Warrior is one of my absolute favorites. There’s something about a chunky sweater that makes you feel even that much more cozy. I’m excited to layer with peacoats, scarves, and sweaters. Dressing for colder weather can sometimes being a struggle, especially when it comes to combining style with staying warm, but we are up for the challenge! I’m prepared to assemble my “cold weather wardrobe,” and I’ve been searching through Pinterest for cold weather outfits inspo too. The days are almost much gone where you need to prepare for being frigid in the morning, but extra toasty by the afternoon.

Fowler hit her driver from the gold tees for her ace as witnessed by Jason Gauble and Joel Hurd.You can feel it in the air (literally and figuratively) – brisk, crisp weather is here. Judy Fowler achieved her first ever hole-in-one on the 2nd hole. Spectacular shotsīidwell Park Golf Course yielded two aces last weekend. 3: 1, Karen Olson 2, Linda Allen 3, Susan McVicker Wever. Paulo also tied Linda Alworth for low net with a score of 75. Low gross on the day was Cynthia Paulo with a score of 92. The Canyon Oaks Women’s Golf Club counted only the even holes for its weekly game. The team of Karla Dreiss, Jeannie Stone and Joan Bequette, along with the team of Vicki Ellcessor, Joye Smith and JoAnne Rutledge tied for first place with a score of 60. The Butte Creek Women’s Golf Club held an ABC, one best-ball tournament for its weekly outing. Jim Sands and a blind draw were low gross at 75.

The Butte Creek Senior Men’s Golf Club held a Two-Man, One Best-Ball blind draw for its monthly tournament last week, which included a full breakfast. Third flight low gross: Susan Pease, 104. Second flight low gross: Pam Coleman, 98. First flight low gross: Kelly MacKinnon, 88.
The Bidwell Women’s Golf Club members got off to a cold start last week but managed to play a game called “Tee to Green,” counting only the strokes to reach the green. I’ll make an effort to get the results in the golf column next week. The El Rancho Chico Golf Club concluded its NCGA senior two-man and senior four-ball qualifying last week. Good scores considering the circumstances.
Sally Stemen and Sherry Sue tied for low gross on the day with a score of 81. The Table Mountain Women’s Golf Club held a medal stroke play with a limited number of members braving the cold and windy weather. Halterman and Robert Anderson, 65 5: tie, Alan Bunn and Randy Garewal, Gino Aiello and Robert Castleberry, along with Dave Dashler and Bud Willett, 66 the Four-Ball Net championship tournament is scheduled to be played at Poppy Hills GC, June 20-21. Other teams near the top of the leader board, but failing to qualify, were: 3, Darren Diver and Wayne Teague, 64 4, C.J. Taking second, two strokes back was the team of Mike Martini and Rodney Amburn with a score of 63. The current top five in the standings are: 1, David Abercrombie 2, John Baily 3, Will Olive 4, Robbie Olive 5, Darren Diver.Ĭlaiming the top spot with an 11-under score of 61 was the team of Roberto Esparza and Jason Smock. One incentive for getting good participation in their tournaments is because all players earn Player-of-the-Year points just for playing. Forty-seven two-man teams turned out for the NCGA Four-Ball Local Qualifying Tournament to determine which two teams move on to the next level. Frost delays and chilly weather dampened the desire for some players to show up and participate in several local tournaments, but not the Table Mountain Men’s Club members.
